Browser Validation
When a browser not supported by WERCSmart is used, a message will display advising of the recommended browser. Using a browser that is not recommended may result in performance and functionality issues.
The recommended browser for WERCSmart is Google Chrome.
The user may elect to close this message using the “X”, available to the far right of the message. The message will reappear each time WERCSmart is accessed.
Alerts and Announcements
The new Home Page view has relocated the Alerts and Announcements to the upper banner and the graphic icon showing statuses has been fully removed. Many users may have collapsed this area, providing more visibility to the My Products area.
Counts of unaddressed messages, whether an Alert or an Announcement, will display.
To view the list of Alerts, you may select the arrow to the right of Alerts to expand the details. As in the past, using the options for each line item will bring you to the appropriate area to be addressed. Alerts will also continue to appear in the Messages in the main menu, to the far left.
Announcements, as well, will display active announcements generated by UL Solutions, when using the arrow to the right of Announcements.
The Product Information graphic, showing various statuses of the registrations within your account’s My Products area, is removed.
Filters and Statuses
The current status of “Needs Your Attention” has been updated to indicate “Suspended”, so that you are aware of delays with regard to processing registration data through the Assessment, or Hazard Review, process.
When using this filter option, you will see a list of registrations that has been submitted via your WERCSmart account but are experiencing a delay due to various issues such as Flash Point data, the registration’s ingredients, or other issues. Alerts and Messages will also contain details as to any suspensions currently on your products.
When using this status filter to see what products are suspended, any products that you are editing will no longer display, to minimize confusion.
The status colors, which are also filters, coordinate with the recipient on each product listed in your My Products area.
Assistance for Home Page Use
For new users, or those who haven’t visited WERCSmart for quite some time, we’ve added some informational guidance for the Home Page and My Products table. By hovering over the ? Icon toward the top of the view, you’ll see an explanation of the Home Page displayed.
My Products Table Header is now Recipients
The column with information about data recipients, typically known Retailers, is updated to be Recipients. The hover actions on each recipient listed for your products will now display full text including the recipient’s name and the status of the registration to the chosen recipient
New Accounts – My Products View
For our new accounts, the My Products table will provide an easy method to begin a product registration by including a quick action of “Add Product” to begin the process.
