WERCSmart Enrollment for Subscription


When registering products in WERCSmart for a Retailer requirement, you will need to enroll in a subscription.

What does the Subscription cover and who can enroll? 

  • Only Administrators on the account can enroll in a Subscription. 

  • Subscription is based on how many different WPS IDs you are submitting for assessment as well as which of the three product categories your products fall under. 

    • There are 3 different subscription product types: Formulated products, Articles, and Enhanced Articles. These categories depend on what type of product(s) you are registering. The category of each product will be determined by the system as you register your products. 

  • The subscription will renew automatically every year on the date that you enroll.

Special note: 

WERCSmart is designed to know, based on the product type you choose which subscription you will fall under. It is best to register your products first and then submit them. 


Please use the steps below to enroll in a WERCSmart subscription:

  • When you complete your first product registration, the system will automatically prompt the need for a subscription prior to submitting your product for assessment. 

    • The system will bring you to the subscription enrollment page where you can continue with enrollment before your product is officially submitted for assessment. 

  • You may also go directly to this enrollment page before you register your first product(s) if you would like by selecting your name in the top right corner followed by selecting "My Account". 

  • On the "My Account" page, please select the green "Enroll" button from the middle of the page. 

  • You will now be brought to the "Subscription Enrollment" page where you may select the appropriate subscription tier(s) that align with the number of products you will be registering in WERCSmart. 

  • You may now select the level of subscription you would like (Limited, Standard or Premium) and you can enroll in WERCSmart Agency Support services. 

  • Select the green "Proceed" option. 

  • You will now see a pop-up outlining your subscription selections. Review this information and select "Checkout". 

  • Add in your new payment method information and mark your new payment method as "Default".  

  • Select the green "Continue" button. 

  • On the Purchase Summary page, review your subscription information and select the green "Confirm Order" to complete your subscription enrollment. 

  • Any products that are in your shopping cart will now be submitted for assessment.
