WERCSmart Reset Suspension Function


When registering your product(s) in WERCSmart, the registration may get suspended for a number of reasons. If a suspension is not resolved within 120 days of the suspension taking place, the product will automatically be cancelled in WERCSmart.


The Reset Suspension functionality provides you the opportunity to allow more time to update the registration without the product being cancelled. The Reset Suspension button will show up 59 days after the Product has been suspended. 


Please follow the steps below to reset the date of a suspension allowing you more time to resolve the suspension: 

  • On your home page, please find your product that was suspended and select the three dots below actions to the right of the product.

  •  Select "Reset Suspension" from the dropdown list. 

    • This option will only be present on your product after it has been suspended for at least 59 days. 

  • You will now see a pop-up indicating that you are resetting the suspension date to allow for an additional 120 days that you can use to update and resubmit your product for review. 

  • Select the button that reads "Reset Suspension" to complete this action. 

  • The Administrators of the WERCSmart account will now be sent an email from NoReply@wercsmart.ul.com that confirms the suspension reset has taken place.
