What to do with a suspension
When you register your products in WERCSmart, your registration may be suspended for various reasons. For more information on suspensions, please see My product 'Needs Attention' (red). What do I do next?
What happens if a suspension is not addressed or reset?
If the suspension is not resolved within 120 days, the product will be automatically canceled in WERCSmart.
- This will permanently delete all data associated with the product and remove it from counting toward your subscription.
- Once a product has been canceled, its data cannot be recovered, and it must be re-registered as a new product if it is to be added back into the system.
Throughout the 120-day suspension period, you will receive alerts within your account and emails notifying you of the approaching deadline.
What is the Reset Suspension feature?
The Reset Suspension feature allows you to extend the time available to update your registration without canceling the product.
Note: The Reset Suspension option will only be available after the product has been suspended for at least 59 days.
How to reset the suspension
Gain additional time to resolve the issue.
- Navigate to your Home Page by clicking the Home icon on the left-side navigation bar.
- Find the specific product in the table.
- Under the 'Actions' column, select the three dots.
- From the dropdown list, select Reset Suspension.
- Verify your decision in the popup.
- This will allow an additional 120 days to update and resubmit the product for review.
- Click Reset Suspension.
After completing these steps, the administrators of your WERCSmart account will receive an email confirming the suspension has been reset.
