Product Labels in WERCSmart 

Product labels are generally found on the outside packaging of your product and provide the contents and identity of the item.

In WERCSmart, you may be required to upload your product label for certain products depending on the product type, but you also have the option to upload your product label to any product.

Product Labels must include the following information to be accepted in WERCSmart:

• The product label should include the full front and back artwork of the product.

• The label should have a product name, a full listing of all active and inactive ingredients if the Manufacturer places it on the label. 

• You must also include the nutrition or supplement facts if this is applicable to your product.

• The UPC and size must also be included if applicable.

Here are a couple examples that include sufficient product label information: 

The label to the left represents a product with nutrition or supplement facts whereas the label to the right is for a different type of product.

When you are ready to upload your product label in WERCSmart, please confirm that your file is no more than 4 MB in size and is a PDF file, to upload the file successfully.

If you attempt to progress beyond this page and the system prevents you from doing so without providing a product label, then your product type likely requires a product label for your product to be registered successfully.
