Why do I see an auto-recertification message?

WERCSmart Auto-Recertification
Auto-recertification is applied to certain product registrations when additional or updated information may be required due to regulatory changes, assessment updates as required by the retailer, or updates to the WERCSmart site.
The auto-recertification message appears when you attempt to edit/update a product registration and is indicated by the pop-up message shown below:
The message listed in red indicates what updates are needed within your product registration to resolve an auto-recertification.
How to resolve an auto-recertification:
Select Accept Recertification and navigate to the appropriate page and section to update the data and submit the product for reassessment after completing the updates listed in the message
Special Note:
When a registration is in Auto-Recertification, there is an Error Report button available throughout the registration where you can view the updates that are required for your product.
This button appears in the lower-left corner of the pages within the registration process as shown below.
