Direct Ship Vendors (DSV)
When you ship your product(s) directly to the consumer, bypassing the retailer, yet your product is available in the retailer's online site, you are considered a Direct Ship Vendor (DSV).
The retailer may require registration of your product as the retailer may accept returns at their brick-and-mortar store locations.
When you are registering your products, the question shown below is asking whether or not the product is a DSV product:
If your product is sold on a Retailer's website, and is shipped directly to the customer, bypassing the product being present in the Retailer's brick-and-mortar store locations, please select "Yes"
If your product is shipped to the Retailer's store location to be sold, please select "No" to indicate that your product not a DSV product.
Special note:
Walmart has specific registration process for Direct Ship Vendors. Please contact Walmart directly for assistance with registering your products as a DSV.
If you sell your products as a DSV to several Retailer's including Walmart, please use WERCSmart to register your product as a Direct Ship Vendor.
