Uploading documents in WERCSmart.

Most product registrations in WERCSmart will require at least one document to be uploaded to complete the registration.   

The uploading of documents takes place within the "Review and Submit" section of your registration. Here are some examples of documents that the system may require you to upload depending on the type of product being registered:  

• OSHA compliant Safety Data Sheet 

• Product Label

• UN 38.3 Documents

• Article Information Sheets (AIS)

• Any other regulatory documents that may be required during your product registration. 

  • The system will not allow you to progress further in the registration until all required documents are uploaded.    

The upload location for these files is generally found on the "Review and Submit" page. For example, here is where you would upload your Safety Data Sheet: 

You may select the "Browse" button listed in blue to browse your files for the correct Safety Data Sheet. 

In order for your file to be uploaded successfully in WERCSmart, the file needs to have the following properties: 

• The file must be in PDF format. Other file types will not be successfully uploaded and the system will likely produce an error message.  

• The file needs to be less than 4 MB for the system to accept the upload.
