WERCSmart registration process for lithium batteries require the UN38.3 Test Summary document be uploaded within the registration.   

Battery-containing product suppliers are strongly encouraged to check with their battery manufacturer that the WERCSmart battery registration has been updated, to ensure the battery-containing product registration is fully compliant.

Battery-Containing Products do not require the uploaded UN38.3 Test Summary as this will be provided within the battery's registration in WERCSmart.  

Providing the document to retailers directly through WERCSmart ensures that they will be able to provide the Test Summaries when shipping lithium products or product that ship with / contain a lithium battery.

Per the regulation, the test summary document is required to be made available upon request.  For further details on the requirement, please review the Test Summary Brochure.
