Target: What is a DPCI number?

Target requires, each UPC associated to Target, to reference the DPCI number.
Target provides the DPCI to the WERCSmart User. Some UPCs may have more than one DPCI associated and when this occurs, the entry in WERCSmart for the DPCI is separated by a comma.
DPCI entries are formatted as XXX-XX-XXXX. DPCI is "Department, Class, Item" identification for the retailer's systems.
