Transferring or clearing product registrations from your WERCSmart shopping cart
Product registrations will go into your account shopping cart before being submitted for assessment. This article details how to transfer or clear a shopping cart and which roles can perform which actions.

How to transfer a shopping cart
Only Power Users and the Administrator can transfer shopping carts.
Step 1: Navigate to My Account
- Log in to WERCSmart.
- Click on your name in the top right corner.
- Click on My Account.
- Under the 'Your Company User Accounts' section, users with an active cart are indicated by a cart and number icon in the table.
Step 2: Action the cart
- In the 'Actions' column, select the three dots.
- Click Change Owner.
Step 3: Select the new cart owner
- In the pop-up, select who you'd like to transfer the cart to from the dropdown of Active Users.
- Click Transfer.
Need to edit a product that is in a shopping cart
Products in a shopping cart cannot be edited unless they are removed from the shopping cart.
- This is why the Edit option may not be available when you select an Action for the product.
- In its place, you may see In the Cart.
To edit the product, you must first clear the shopping cart.
How to clear a shopping cart
Power Users and the Administrator can clear shopping carts for themselves and others. Users can only clear their own shopping carts.
Step 1: Navigate to My Account
- Log in to WERCSmart.
- Click on your name in the top right corner.
- Click on My Account.
- Under the 'Your Company User Accounts' section, users with an active cart are indicated by a cart and number icon in the table.
Step 2: Action the cart
- In the 'Actions' column, select the three dots.
- Click Clear Cart.
Step 3: Confirm Action
- Confirm that you would live to clear the selected cart.
