There are two types of WERCSmart account roles; Administrators and Users. The Administrator plays an important role in maintaining active accounts and keeping them in good standing. 


It is recommended to develop a team backup plan to support registration approval, subscription renewal, or simply provide peace of mind. This includes setting up one or more of your trusted team members as an Administrator to assist with a range of activities that help minimize the risk of service interruptions in your absence.


Setting up additional trusted Administrators can help:

  • Expedite progress when you are unavailable to review and approve time-sensitive product registration submissions;

  • Assist with cleaning up outdated team user account information – Since WERCSmart activities are date-stamped, deleting accounts is not possible. Instead, Administrators indicate whether a User account is active or inactive;

  • Validate whether your account is in good standing – during annual subscription and renewal time, having an additional Administrator contact can assist in facilitating subscription/renewal payments in the case of your absence


How to assign or add a new Administrator


Assign a current User to be an Administrator

  1. Login to your WERCSmart Account

  2. Go to “My Account” from your dropdown name in the upper right menu bar

  3. Select desired team member to edit 

  4. Change contact information from “User” to “Administrator” from the dropdown

  5. Check the box “Send Notifications”

 

Add new Administrator

  1. Login to your WERCSmart Account

  2. Go to “My Account” from your dropdown name in the upper right menu bar

  3. Select “New User” 

  4. Enter in contact information and select “Administrator” from the dropdown

  5. Check the box “Send Notifications”
