TCLP Analysis is a soil sample extraction method that simulates leaching through landfills.  It is used in the Waste Classification of some chemical-containing products and is structured under the Federal Environmental Protection Act (EPA) regulations.  The report, although not required, is helpful to the regulatory assessment team to appropriately classify the product under the EPA's Waste Classification guidelines (D-List).
